SHOW is run entirely on donations, which means we need your support! Below is a graphic of our operating expenses.
SHOW operates in collaboration with the ASU Foundation, a 501c(3) that accepts on behalf of SHOW. Your financial donation helps to provide the clinical services, educational programs, and recreational activities for vulnerable populations in our community. All donations are handled through ASU Foundation. However, all proceeds will go directly to the SHOW Community Initiative.
SHOW is seeking philanthropic partnerships to sustain its mission of community services and student education. Total operating expenses for SHOW are $265,279, not including $550,000 in personnel expenses which will be donated in-kind by students and employees. The average cost per patient is projected to be $443, of which $310 comprises donated time by students, physicians, nurses, and other health care providers. The remaining $132 covers expenses associated with essential personnel to coordinate the many volunteers staffing the clinic, software support for medical records, medical testing equipment and supplies, and other costs associated with patient care and promoting the services.
SHOW accepts donations of new or gently used items and distributes them to those in need. We can accept donations of sterile or re-usable medical supplies, as well as items such as backpacks, blankets, coats or jackets, hygiene supplies, and other small items.
